The 36^th America’s Cup – A platform for New Zealand’s Marine, Manufacturing & Hi-Tech Industry.

ExportNZ  have a unique opportunity for you to take a tour of ‘Manu Wai’, the America’s Cup camera boat, decked out with Kiwi creations like the Shotover Camera and Shark Seats. A chance to see and hear about the domain usually occupied by elite professional sailors and film crews.

This tour is sponsored by Propspeed International and Orams Marine Sales, who in conjunction with ExportNZ are hosting this networking event which will consist of a presentation along with the boat tour.

Once you have had a tour of the boat, you will head to the Captains Lounge at Orams Marine to hear from Clint Jones, President of Development at Propspeed International.

Clint will detail their involvement in the America’s Cup, and the development of the marine, manufacturing, and tech sectors over the last 10 years and what it means for New Zealand’s commerce.

With over 40 years in the marine industry, Clint has seen the evolution from building super yachts to a high value component industry where New Zealand’s leading expertise in carbon fibre has helped generate hundreds of millions through the export sector as our products are shipped across the world.

Propspeed International’s association with the Cup over the last 10 years has enabled them to treble in size, creating more jobs and helping to firmly establish the importance of New Zealand companies in the global marine business.
