Join us at The Factory to hear (via Zoom) expert speakers on what you can expect from 2021 if you are exporting. There is a lot happening on the world stage, from FTA negotiations with the EU and the UK, Brexit, a USA Presidential election and a New Zealand election. Join us to hear about these topics and also to hear from our Ambassador in South Korea, Philip Turner. Following the updates, networking drinks and canapes will be held for the attendees.

3.00 PM – Welcome Catherine Beard, Executive Director ExportNZ
3.05-3.25 PM – Vangelis Vitalis – Chief Trade Negotiator, MFAT – Where we are at with FTA’s, geopolitical risks and opportunities & how overseas posts are helping exporters.
3.25-3.45 PM – Tim Green, Strategy, People and Partners, NZTE. NZTE has had an additional $200m from Government to put toward exporter support and Tim Green will outline how that is being spent and what sort of new support is available.
3.45-4.05 PM – US Political commentator on the US election result. Leon Grice, Chair of NZUS Council and previously MFAT Consul General in LA will give an analysis on what the US Presidential election result will mean for business in the USA and for exporters to the USA.
4.05-4.20 PM – Opportunities in South Korea and lessons learned about the market. Philip Turner, MFAT Ambassador in South Korea and previously a senior executive at Fonterra. Phil is a good friend of ExportNZ having served on our National Advisory Board and he will be joining us live from Seoul with his insights.
4.20-4.30 PM – Catherine Beard – Thanks to our speakers and our agency partners NZTE and MFAT
