Session 2: Communicating the Value of Your Product and Brand on Marketplaces

Date: Thursday 18th November

Platform: via MS Teams

Time: 10.30AM – 12.30PM (15 minutes break included)

When you are selling directly to consumers online, the importance and quality of your brand presence cannot be overstated. The transition from B2B to B2C selling is sometimes a challenging one as your brand messaging changes for converting the end consumer, not the distributor or retailer who has different motivations.

Because consumers can’t touch, taste, smell, or see your product up close, you have to visually build the vision and create the experience to help them ‘join the dots’, so choosing your product is the obvious choice.

  • The design component options you have on marketplaces and how to use them effectively
  • The Image stack concepts to tell the story of your brand and product
  • How to answer the unspoken concerns or objections that stop someone from buying your product
  • The importance of consistency in brand presence across marketplaces
  • How video can be used to enhance the buying experience
  • How to create the right product messaging, while also being relevant for the marketplace search algorithms
