New Zealand-United Kingdom FTA

The elevation of Liz Truss as British Prime Minister is said to give New Zealand a “huge advantage” according to Trade and Export Growth Minister, Damien O’Connor. As British Trade Secretary, Truss had a part in negotiating the NZ-UK FTA, and had also applied for the UK to join the CPTPP.

Go Global 2022

Exporters have been challenged to look at global trade differently, big questions still remain about what the ‘new normal’ will look like. Will shipping and logistics improve, will tariff wars between superpowers escalate or de-escalate, will free trade deals be harder to secure and will we see an increase in non-tariff barriers, more protectionism and ‘made at home’?

Go Global is your opportunity to hear from industry leaders, get global market insights and getting connected with some of the best in the game. The focus this year is on new export business models, should New Zealand focus on collectives, and how new approaches to technology, investment and change can help New Zealand exporters grow their business.

Hear from Keynote speaker Brianne West, New Zealand entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Ethique, the world’s most sustainable lifestyle and beauty brand.
