Singapore and Malaysia Market Readiness Workshop

Due to Covid-19, this event will now be held virtually – on Zoom.

The Southeast Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence (SEA CAPE) and ExportNZ invite you to attend this free workshop focused on doing business in Singapore and Malaysia.

The Market Readiness Programme (MRP) provides participating businesses with the mind-set, assessment tools and strategizing preparation work needed for engaging in these markets. As a participating business, you will have an opportunity to tap into the expert knowledge of the facilitators and share your experiences with other participants.

Singapore and Malaysia are among New Zealand’s top trade partners. Both countries have a well-developed business infrastructure and score highly in the ease of doing business rankings. Discover more about these exciting markets and how they can serve as a hub for New Zealand businesses in Southeast Asia.

This free, interactive one-day workshop provides relevant insights for New Zealand businesses looking to engage with or already doing business in Singapore and Malaysia.

The breakout sessions give participants the chance to share their experiences of the regions with other individuals and businesses.

Topics of the day include the macro and business environments in Singapore and Malaysia, key aspects of the business culture, competing in Southeast Asia, consumer behaviour and learning from competition.

Value for you:

  • Gain culture-specific insights into current or potential overseas market(s) in Southeast Asia.
