ExportNZ ASB Bay of Plenty Awards Photos

We are thrilled to share the highlights from the recent Export Awards gala event held in Mount Maunganui. A heartfelt thank you to all the attendees for their amazing outfits and vibrant presence, which made the evening truly memorable. Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding achievements:

  • Trimax Mowing Systems, a Tauranga-based manufacturer and exporter of premium mowing equipment, won the ExportNZ ASB Bank Bay of Plenty Exporter of the Year Award in partnership with Sharp Tudhope Lawyers.
  • The Excellence in Innovation award, in partnership with Page Macrae Engineering, was awarded to Oasis Engineering, a manufacturer of high-pressure control devices for gases such as hydrogen and compressed natural gas.
  • Carepatron, a provider of secure, cloud-based healthcare workspaces, received the Best Emerging Business award in partnership with Air New Zealand Cargo.
  • The Export Achievement Award, in partnership with Zespri International, had two joint winners: Sarah Webb of LawVu and Karl Stevenson of Bluelab. Sarah Webb has been a founding force behind LawVu, exemplifying leadership, resilience, and operational excellence. Karl Stevenson, a champion of design thinking in New Zealand’s export sector, has significantly contributed to the international growth of both Trimax Mowing Systems and Bluelab.
  • The Services to Export Award, in partnership with Orbit World Travel (NZ), was presented to Steven Saunders for his outstanding contribution to the exporting success of the Bay of Plenty region. Steven, the co-founder of Robotics Plus and numerous other exporting businesses, has served for 12 years on Priority One Western Bay of Plenty and co-founded the Newnham Park Innovation Centre and Mount Pack & Cool.
