ExportNZ Year-End Cocktail Function – Canterbury

Join us for our last Canterbury ExportNZ event for this year, where we plan to celebrate the year that was with the local Canterbury export community.
Hear from Tait Communications how they problem solved and meet the Covid challenges this year, plus what they see on the horizon for next year.

Get up to date insights from NZTE as we quiz them on what went well this year for exporters and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

Dr Yoram Benit | CEO, Tait Communications

Yoram became Chief Executive of Tait Communications in January 2021. He joined the company in the United States and moved to New Zealand in early 2019 following his promotion to Chief Operating Officer.

An electrical engineer by trade, Yoram was with industry leader Motorola Solutions for 31 years, in director-level roles in Latin and North America with responsibility for customer operations, technical support and marketing, sales engineering and product management. In 2011, he was promoted to Vice President with responsibility for Motorola’s product and solution management and pre-sales engineering. From 2015-2018, Yoram worked for Harris Corporations as VP of Product Line Management in the company’s Public Safety and Professional Communications division.

Daniel Taylor | Export Customers, General Manager & Lead of Manufacturing Customers Team, NZTE

Daniel is currently GM for Export Customers, along with leading NZTE’s Manufacturing Export Customers Team, with team members based around New Zealand. He has held a number of leadership roles across NZTE, including trade commissioner for the United Kingdom and Ireland, trade commissioner and consul general in Melbourne, and NZTE private secretary to the Minister for Economic Development.

Before joining NZTE, Daniel was involved in exporting fresh produce, with operations role at ENZA and Global Fruits.
