There is a lot happening on the world stage, from FTA negotiations with the EU and the UK, Brexit, a USA Presidential election and a New Zealand election.

Join us at the NZTE offices in Auckland for the Export Outlook 2021 session to hear from expert speakers on what you can expect from 2021 if you are exporting.


Programme:


3.00pm: Welcome Catherine Beard, Executive Director ExportNZ

3.05-3.25pm: Vangelis Vitalis – Deputy Secretary (Trade & Economic Group).  – Where we are at with FTA’s, geopolitical risks and opportunities & how overseas posts are helping exporters.

3.25-3.45pm: Rachel Baxter, Transformation Lead, NZTE.  NZTE has had an additional $200m from Government to put toward exporter support and Rachel Baxter will outline how that is being spent and what sort of new support is available.

3.45-4.05pm: US Political commentator on the US election result.  Leon Grice, Chair of NZUS Council and previously MFAT Consul General in LA will give an analysis on what the US Presidential election result will mean for business in the USA and for exporters to the USA.

4.05-4.20pm: Opportunities in South Korea and lessons learned about the market.  Philip Turner, MFAT Ambassador in South Korea and previously a senior executive at Fonterra.  Phil is a good friend of ExportNZ having served on our National Advisory Board and he will be joining us live from Seoul with his insights.
