European Union – New Zealand Free Trade Agreement and other trade negotiations forum

Come along to our free event to hear from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on negotiations for a European Union–New Zealand free trade agreement, and other trade negotiations.

– Find out what the European Union–New Zealand free trade agreement means for New Zealand and where negotiations are at.

– Get an update on other trade agreements under negotiation or consideration.

– Ask questions, share your views, and hear what others are thinking.

The presentations will be followed by plenty of time for questions and answers, and refreshments.

Our shared history and values make the European Union (made up of 28 member states) a close and like-minded trade partner for New Zealand. A modern free trade agreement with the EU is a chance to deepen that partnership, deliver significant economic gains, and agree on high standards in areas that New Zealanders care about, like the environment and labour standards. Information on the EU-NZ FTA can be found on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade website at: www.mfat.govt.nz/en/trade/free-trade-agreements/agreements-under-negotiation/eu-fta/
