ExportNZ’s EAT breakfast will be followed by the much anticipated launch of the 2018 Zespri Bay of Plenty ExportNZ Awards!

The focus for this month’s breakfast is  “What it takes to succeed globally in the modern age of disruption”

The pace of change isn’t going to slow down anytime soon.   In fact, if you think that the last 15 years has seen enormous disruption in the business world, then the next 15 years will make that disruption seem tame by comparison.

We are pleased to announce our highly esteemed speakers:

Clare Swallow, General Manager from Cucumber
Clare will present on how to create a culture of courage where customers, collaboration and innovation are at the heart of what we do.

Clare is a digital leader and previous Westpac Millennial Woman of Influence award-winner, with proven experience helping some of NZ’s top 100 companies solve their toughest challenges by utilising technology.

Tom Abbott, Landscape Architect, and Morgan Holtman, Senior Architectural Designer, from Beca
Tom and Morgan will discuss insights into the success factors of winning and delivering challenging and important projects in the North Pacific.

Tom brings 12 years’ experience delivering award-winning projects in New Zealand, Australia and the UK and is currently undertaking master planning and detailed design for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Apia waterfront.

Morgan has a broad range of experience and skills obtained from working both locally and internationally over 15 years for Beca.

Bruce Ennis, Business and Product Development Manager, Page Macrae Engineering
Bruce has lead Page Macrae Engineering’s port equipment product design, alongside local and export sales business for the last 12 years. Under Bruce’s management the port equipment sales have grown from solely servicing New Zealand clients, to exporting the bulk of their equipment to Australia, North America and recently South America.

Bruce will be discussing the challenges and insights from successfully exporting Page Macrae’s heavy engineering products to the world.
