Export NZ
Export Roadshow – May 2023 (Bay of Plenty)
This event has passed.
ExportNZ brings you the ExportNZ Roadshow in May 2023 in the Bay of Plenty!
Save the date to spend quality time with members of New Zealand’s export community and get the latest updates in the industry!
WHAT IS IT?
The Research & Development (R&D) Tax Credit Incentive is here to incentivise research and development to seek or solve scientific and technological activities. It allows eligible businesses a credit of up to 15% of eligible R&D expenditure. Yet very few small and medium businesses across NZ use this tax credit.
In this free (for members) informative session, over drinks and nibbles, learn from an exporter such as yourself and a tax/financial expert:
• Mitigate the lack of administration of using the R&D tax credit
• Understand how SMEs can use the R&D tax credit to help grow their business
• Learn how your contribution to R&D can help boost NZ’s own diversity of thought and productivity
WHO IS IT FOR?
Exclusively open to exporters and their teams who are currently exporting.
If you’re a small to medium business or an exporter just starting out, you need to be here!
THE BENEFIT?
- The R&D Credit is fairly new in its current form – learn how to take advantage of this to grow your business
- Gain input from tax & financial experts and your peers – exporters just like yourself
- Hear varying perspectives and what you should not miss when it comes to compliance & preparation
