CODA GROUP APPOINTS GERARD MORRISON AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE

The board of New Zealand’s leading freight management business, Coda Group, has appointed Gerard Morrison to the role of Chief Executive.

Coda Group Chairman Sir Dryden Spring said Mr Morrison brings extensive logistics experience with a deep understanding of the challenges to ensure New Zealand business remains connected to global trade.

“Gerard has been working closely with New Zealand exporters, importers and logistics partners for over 10 years, bringing sustainable ocean freight services to New Zealand. Gerard has proven he is uniquely qualified to drive Coda’s strategy forward, having demonstrated experience in building high performing teams to create and deliver on long-term sustainable relationships with customers and partners.”

“Coda is now established as a significant, innovative logistics provider. “Gerard brings a personal passion for people, transformational leadership and customer relationships. We are delighted to have attracted such an experienced and high calibre leader to accelerate our journey.”

Gerard Morrison has almost 20 years’ experience working in logistics, with over 14 years at the world’s largest container shipping line, Maersk Line, most recently as Managing Director, Maersk Oceania.
